I think you people are playing with our minds… am even tempted to think remotask is a scam. Imagine I have spent the whole of my week and all the money I had on a data plan so as to take the Remotask training only to be told that remotask is not available in my region… why wait until someone completes the training to tell them something that should have been part of the application process… I feel so deceived… so bad considering the economic situation in my country… or should i say everywhere.

I’m part of remotasks and it’s legitimate. Here in the Philippines they require you to attend a bootcamp seminar for 10 days. Then all of the exam will be conducted on the training room.

I tried signing up with Remotasks, after receiving my Facebook profile, i was asked to input my phone number for verification, of which I did, but till this moment, I never got the verification code.
They probably are restricted to particular countries.

As of May 2019, Remotasks has become a total scam for those not in their “country list”. You’ll join, if you’re lucky you’ll do exams.. you’ll work for them and in a week or two everything you worked on will be cancelled and you’ll not get any work. The only reply from the site is that they only work with 3rd world countries. You might want to amend your review!

I would not call this a scam at all. Each site has rules and they work with certain countries. If your country is not on their list it is not possible for you to work on the site. Maybe in the past, they allowed all countries to join, but for now, they have changed their rules and now have a list of countries that can join the site.
