Earn Money Apps, Paid to Play Games

MistPlay App Review – Legit or Scam

MistPlay is available on the Google Play Store for Android devices. The app pays you for playing games and testing new games. The longer you play, plus, the more games you play, the more rewards you’ll earn. Your rewards points are redeemable for different types of gift cards available on the app. This is a fun way to pass time testing and playing different games on your device.

How Does it Work?

  1. You’ll need to go to the Google Play Store to download and install the app on your Android device.
  2. The app isn’t available for iOS devices.
  3. Once you’ve completed your installation all you need to do is visit the offers wall.

How To Earn?

  1. On the offer wall, there are many different games that you can play.
  2. The longer you play the games the more points you earn.
  3. You can play different types of games with the app to earn points.
  4. The points are redeemable for gift cards.
  5. You’ll need to install one of the games in the recommended game mix list on the app.
  6. When you level up your avatar on the app it earns you points and allows you to unlock new features and achievements.
  7. The app has a referral system to help you earn more points. Each time a person signs up under your referral account, you’ll earn points.
  8. Each game you play on the app is absolutely free.
  9. The app adds news games to the mix list each week.

How Does the Game Pay You?

  1. You’ll need to convert your points for the different gift cards on the app.
  2. There are a variety of gift cards to choose from
  3. You can also use your points to buy other games from the app.

What People Say About this App:

  1. When the app first came out many people trusted the app.
  2. The app is slowly earning, but people were able to redeem enough points for $5 gift cards.
  3. The app has started to delete people’s accounts that are inactive for 180 days.
  4. Many people are angry because this wasn’t stated in the TOS for the app.
  5. Many people are disappointed with the app after the upgrade. Now it takes longer to earn the points to cash out and redeem a gift card.
  6. The app takes to long playing some of the games to earn the points for gift cards.

Conclusion:

The app is legitimate and if you earn enough points on the app, they send you a gift card of our choice. However, the app is a slow earning app, it takes too many hours to play the games to earn points, and some of the games you have to play don’t add a lot of points to your account. Furthermore, the app has now changed the rules and will delete anyone’s account that hasn’t been active on the app for 180 days. I personally feel if an app changes the TOS and doesn’t notify the user it is a bad way to do business. Deleting an account without warning isn’t fair to people who’ve worked on the app and have points in their account. I wouldn’t work on an app like this. Anyhow, it is still a legitimate app and if you love playing games it is a good app to use.

  1. I have been playing for about two weeks and already halfway to $25 card. My phone was stolen so I tried logging into the app from a different device and that is where my problems started. Not only can I not log in because of error stating this account is already in use and when I try to reset password I get message claiming I signed up with Facebook when I signed up with Google. I created another account (against the rules) since they completely ignored my ticket and now the games are not only completely different even though I picked sames games when asked what I like the games are ones that I do not like. This app is a serious pain in the tail.

    1. All these types of sites have very strict rules. You must have violated one of them. Normally it is because you are using some sort of VPN or proxy or you have created a second account and forgot you did. There is always a reason a site will flag an account. Most people claim they did nothing wrong, but in the end, they did.

      1. Problem with the VPN is that you could have started on your phone and something happened, such as you lost or broke your phone. So you discover you cannot play on your home computer but find a program such as Bluestacks that will allow you to play your game and also will allow you to use Mistplay, we are not always aware that this type of website is a VPN, we just want to play our games and use our social media…Mistplay should not penalize and accuse people of fraud for this action.

  7. Honestly, I’d used them for several months recommended them to a few people… But then out of the blue to got this email after saying they had confiscated my points pending an investigation for possible referral fraud. Which seems to me that if something nefarious had been up with my account they’d have banned it and I wouldn’t have been able to save up for another card… But I digress… After a couple emails being bounced back and forced between myself and a rep of theirs named Jason, I was told that my points would be returned with additional points for the “inconvenience” . Needless to say, it’s been months and now I can’t get anyone to respond to my emails. Their customer service sucks. I’ve tried contacting them directly through Facebook, their website and Google and I’ve gotten absolutely no reply. Seems to me that after a couple payouts you’re SOL. But for the first couple card redeems it seems legit. From what I’ve read, often times when someone has a problem with them, Mistplay simply ignores them hoping that they’ll go away.

    1. This is so sad to hear that they agreed to give you back the points they removed but never followed through with this. I’m sorry to hear that the site did this to you.

      1. Update:After I posted this, someone got back to me and finally reviewed my case. They returned the points and I was able to get the card that I was supposed to have gotten in June. Better late than never I suppose. The rep that helped me was very diligent. So a bit of faith has been renewed.

I have many friends who work with this company and it was unfortunate what happed to you. I am glad that you have been able to receive your gift card and that your faith has been renewed.

    2. My husband got his first card with no issue. The second card he still has not got because they say he violated the terms. He plays on his phone and his phone is not hacked. They emailed us and it is still not resolved.

  8. Ok so this game gives you .money, but they are shortchanging you big time. Ever heard of HQ? They give away 5000 dollars a day actually twice a day and sometimes more. In exchange for data to sell to advertisers. This game site gives you twice as much work for way less of a payout. 40000 pts for 10 bucks….. I mean my data should be worth more then that if it makes you lots of money….. I’m not saying don’t use it but I am saying they are screwing you lol. And do you think I could find anywhere on their site to post this….. nope

    1. HQ is a trivia app that you use on your smartphone. I’ve never seen the large prizes that you are stating on here right now. This app doesn’t give away 5000 twice a day to play this game. Furthermore, each app is generally a passive income app that can earn you up to $1 for using the app. I understand your concerns about selling off your data for money and in the privacy statement of the app, they should inform you they are doing this. If they don’t then this is a direct violation and you can report this.

  9. Hello Ann! I’m writing on behalf of Mistplay. Thanks for the review! Just wanted to clarify a few things on our end:

    1) We never delete accounts unless users explicitly request their accounts to be deleted.

    2) Unlike other rewards programs, your points on Mistplay do not expire.

    3) Compared to any other app out there, Mistplay is hands down the fastest/most fun passive way to earn free rewards. You can earn a $10 gift card in a single week by playing games you already play for roughly 1-2 hours per day.

    Have a great day!

    1. Thank you so much for your comment. I am happy to know that your company won’t delete a person’s account. Unfortunately, the app has received a few negative comments from users that claim that your app deleted their account. It would be a good idea to try and contact these people to find out why they can no longer access their accounts.

It is nice to see comments on my site from the app owners. This helps people to understand the app and how it works. Thank you for taking the time to clarify the misunderstanding some people had with your app. This makes it easier for others to trust your company and start using your app.
